3 Months and quite the fLiRt!

Ready to watch Daddy's favorite team (even though they aren't doing so hot)!

First time in his mini high chair! (of course GiGi must lick his toes as if they were candy)

Ready for Michigan this Thanksgiving to meet all of his family!!
Just want to eat those cheeks!

Spending time with his grandma :)

Tummy Time!
Carter is officially 3 months and quite the little flirt!! He is smiling non-stop, giggling and batting his long eyelashes. He's now 17.5lbs and can't get enough milk. I have started adding some organic brown cereal to his milk to help fill him up and hopefully sleep longer. After my last doctors appointment we noticed he has a flat spot on the back of his head. Hopefully with lots of tummy time and naps on his side during the day he will not need a helmet. They will evaluate and decide at his 4 month Doctor visit. Please prat that he does not need one! I am however thankful that we have caught it in time to where I can do everything as his mother to help prevent it from happening. On a lighter note, Carter is doing wonderful. He is grabbing toys, lifting himself up during tummy time, and pulling himself forward. I am amazed at how strong he is for such a little fella. Starting this week a girlfriend of mine is going to teach me how to make baby food! I got the baby bullet so that I can make organic fresh baby food for Carter starting around 4-5 months, so now is the time for me to practice practice practice! This past week he has started drooling like crazy and sucking on his hands, bibs, and my arm more than usual. I look forward to seeing what he does next! I will post pictures this evening :)

Carter and Mommy. Love.
Carter with his puppy GiGi. She fell in love with him from day one. I sent home the hat Carter wore right after he was born so GiGi could smell him. She layed with it for 4 days until we came home. She is very protective of her brother!

2 Month Check-up

I took Carter in for his 2 month check-up and he is doing great! He now weighs 15.01lbs and 24 inches long. I can't believe how fast he is growing. Instead of getting 1 shot like last month he got 2 shots which unfortunately caused him to have a slight fever. I never knew how hard it would be as a mother to watch your son in so much pain. Thankfully the infant fever reducing medicine did work and he started feeling better! We also moved into our new home this past week, which I think Carter really loves! He has huge windows in his room and of course a nice big fan to stare at for hours. If there is a fan Carter will be a happy baby. He is starting to hold his head up more this week and being able to enjoy his jumper, well for 5 minutes haha. Since we have been in our new home he has started sleeping in his crib which is a very BIG deal for us. Now all we need is for him to sleep 4-6 hours a night instead of the 2-4 hours! He has now figured out that he has a tongue and is sucking on his arms, hands, my shoulder, and Tom's shoulder. It is so hard to believe that it has already been 10 weeks since he arrived, time sure does fly. I wish he would stay like this forever!
